We have a lot of 2 for 1 days with the family. I am so thankful that my parents are so selfless and allow us to do this. We all enjoy the time we spend together no matter how crazy. It is getting harder and harder to get us all together with our busy schedules and unfortunately Kaylee had to miss it. She had a choir trip planned to Six Flags so she was away all day. We were sad she was not there to celebrate Mothers Day and Coltons 2nd birthday with us but we still had a good time. She is not even a fan of Six Flags but she said she had a blast too. I think she just loved being with all her friends all day.
Sunday I was lucky enough to spend it with Matt and my kiddos. I decided that staying in was the way to go. It was probably the most stress free thing I could think of. There was yard work to be done cleaning up the flower beds so we took a trip to Home Depot after church. It is not really where you would expect a mom to spend the day but I was pretty excited. Our big purchase was electric shrub trimmers and a leaf blower. I had really been wanting that leaf blower! Matt was kind enough to trim up my vushes and clean out the flower beds.
One of my favorite places to eat is Red Lobster. I love crab legs and it is something Kaylee and Matt enjoy just as much. We stopped by the grocery store and got an awesome deal on some KING crab legs. They were on sale and they packaged king crab legs for yhe sale price of the snow crab legs. Score for the Redds! We also grabbed some ribs because Matt makes the best ribs I have ever had and it is probably one of Kaylees favorite foods. Linc on the other hand ate ham lunch meat. Lol
