Kaylee discovered that Lincoln must have had a hard time this morning deciding what doughnut he wanted! We all laughed quite a bit over this. He really is such a funny kid, you never know what he might do.
My name is Rachel Redd, I am a wife and mother to two pretty awesome kids. We are constantly busy and I feel like time is flying by and I don’t want to forget any of this. This blog is going to be my way to “jot” down all of my incREDDible experiences that I have with my family. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!

Organization!
Finally found movie cases that allow you to keep the movie notes with the movie disc. That means I finally got Matt on board with consolidating our movies! We now have one case for us and one for Lincoln and I really am happy with the system.

Family Game Night!
Lincoln and Kaylee got some new games for Christmas. We picked out a couple games that we all could play and we sat down for the fun to begin. Only playing games with a 6 year old is not quite as much fun as it could be. He can dish it out but he can not take it. Neither one of my kids are very good at it and sometimes Matt is not much better. After a game of Trouble (which goes about like the name of the game) we moved on to Sorry Sliders and that was the end of the game Lincoln was being sent to his room and Kaylee was begging to quit.

The New Year!
We sure had a great 2014 but Im sure that we will make 2015 just as incREDDible!
I am still at Cigna working from my dining room and I dont think I can even find the works to describe how much I love it! I still cant believe it some times that I just get to walk out of my bedroom door to go to work. The only downside to it is when the kids are home. I can handle 1 day at a time but any more than that and we are all over it.
Matt is still working as a Tech at DNT. He enjoys it so much more than GFI and I cant believe how different it has been. He is a home a lot more and happier when he is home. He says this company is a lot more laid back and I can tell. Everything happens for a reason they say and I guess it was to force him to move on. GFI really was sucking the life out of him one day at a time.
Kaylee is in 8th grade and this year has been the hardest yet. She is in pre Algebra and she pretty much hates it. She struggled the first quarter but I think she is catching on. I cant believe this year she will be learning to drive and next year she will be in highschool!
Lincoln is in kindergarten and it has been an adventure. He loves it and we are blessed that he wants to go. He is in Title 1 which helps him with more one on one time with his letters and sounds. He is doing great with it and it really gives him the confidence he needs. He has made lots of new friends and has informed me that he will be marrying Cassie when he is old enough. His teacher Mrs. Edwards has told him he is not allowed to have a girlfriend until he is older. Apparently he is a ladies man.
Last year we all started eating better and joined a gym. It really has been a great year for us and our journey to be a more healthy family. We are still struggling with Lincoln because he is the pickiest human on earth but he will get there. We do not deprive ourselves from any of our favorite foods but we try to make better choices and eat smaller portions.
I have lost 70 lbs so far and an just shy of my goal of 80 lbs. After that I will make smaller goals until I am where I want to stay.
Matt has lost 35 lbs and is working on building his muscle up. He is not a big guy so he is going to have to work extra hard to gain that muscle weight.
Kaylee has lost 35 lbs too. She is starting to thing about her choices herself now. she is figuring out how to watch the calorie intake and still be able to eat what she wants.
I am proud of all of us for how far we have come. I hope 2016 we can report we are where we want to be with our health and we have all met some more goals. I think one goal for us this year will be to try to run a 5K. I am not sure if Kaylee is on board yet but Matt and I are!
Stay tuned...
