First track meet!

I can't even contain my excitement for Kaylee today!  She has her first track meet tonight and is super nervous.  She probably wants me to just shut up and leave her alone but I cant help it, I want to know everything!  It is super far away so they have to leave school early to go and I am so bummed I cant go to watch her.  I think she is aittle relieved to have her first meet without her crazy parents though.

So proud of her for trying something new this year!

Allstar picture!

His spring picture couldnt be more perfect.  Our spring consist of baseball and soccer and follows his great basketball season.  It is nothing but chaos once spring starts but I wouldnt have it any other way.

This picture doesnt show any of the craziness this child brings to our lives.  I said, "Lincoln this picture is so good" and his response was "You're welcome"!

Man I love this kid!

Oh man, I'm not feeling so good!

We have been working on trying to get a little piece of metal shaving out of Lincolns toe the last few days.  Today I noticed him walking funny so I forced him to soak his foot so I could try to get it out.  I tried everything I could think of before I grabbed the tweezers.   This child has an irrational fear of tweezers so I grabbed them I flashed them to Kaylee and she proceeds to follow me into the living room.  He was sitting there soaki g his foot and playing a video game so I tucked them in my fist and told him to keep his eye on the TV.  As soon as I exposed them he freaked!  Insisting there was no way I was using the pinching things on him as he screamed " Nope, No Way, No Nope, not gonna happen"!  I of course find this funny and so does Kaylee.  We are holding back the laughter and the biy of sadness we have for him since we know he is truely terrified.  I let him know we have no other option other than let me try and get it or we would have to have the Dr get it out.  He gave up his toe and as soon as the tweezer got close enough to almost touch him the color drained from his face.  In a 60 year old man voice he says on repeat, "Oh man I dont feel good, Oh man I dont feel so good".  The laughter and tears begin as we realize once again he is going to pass out.  He lays his head back and rubs his belly as he begins to sweat all while still repeating, "Oh man I dont feel so good, Oh man I'm going to puke, oh mean my belly hurts" and then we lost him! Kaylee grabs him and holds him so he didnt fall out of his chair and he slept it off for about 10 min.  A few dips of orange juice and he was back to bideo games!
